Oh, just a tiny detail, the woodcutting area in front of the property was a bit noisy for my taste. How dare they use loud machinery!

We recently stayed at the Wooden Cosy Retreat in Hunters Quay for a weekend getaway. The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the pillows were great. The lodge itself was very clean and had a lovely, modern decor. The view of the snow-covered mountains from the covered deck was absolutely beautiful. We were also impressed with the thoughtful touch of providing a cover for the sofas for our dog. The lodge had all the necessary amenities for our two children, including board games that my daughter loved. The heating throughout the cabin, especially the underfloor heating in the bathroom, was a real bonus. The location was perfect for exploring different walks and beaches, and the hosts were friendly and always available if needed. it was a brilliant stay and we have already recommended it to our friends.

We had a brilliant stay at this gorgeous lodge nestled amidst the serene Scottish countryside. the location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore different walks and beaches. the lodge itself was very clean and boasted modern decor, creating a truly impressive ambiance. the hosts were extremely friendly and always ready to assist us. We loved the outdoor decking area, perfect for lounging and relaxing while enjoying the beautiful views of snow-covered mountains.

One small inconvenience was the noise from the workers across from the lodge, but fortunately, it didn't disrupt our plans too much.

It would have been helpful to have user manuals for the underfloor heating system and electrical fireplace to know how to use them. the water pressure in the shower was not the best, so showering felt rushed as we were getting cold.
